I just wanted to thank the entire staff at The Brock House for your outstanding service last Thursday evening.  I had booked a dinner for over thirty people for the Ajax ER staff.  The food was incredible and the service was amazing.  We have been to a couple of other restaurants in the area and The Brock House surpassed those restaurants in every area.  Thank- you again for making our evening so enjoyable and we look forward to our next night out with you!

Brock House is a fabulous restaurant!! I would absolutely recommend the Brock House for any special occasion or just a regular night out! I had a work function there last week, we had about 30+ people attend, the staff was exceptional, and the food was absolutely delicious. They made the experience worth while! Everyone in my department loved their meal which was so refreshing to hear. I have had many experiences with restaurants where its hard to book for larger parties; I felt the Brock House was extremely accommodating! They put us in a beautiful private room where it was nice and intimate for our function. Not only was the staff extremely friendly and efficient but our food came in great time; even being with a larger party. Overall, I am very very happy with my experience and would like to thank the exceptional staff and chef at the Brock House for making it memorable. This will be one of my top picks in Durham Region!!

Hi Chris & Russ,

I know I am behind with this review, but better late than never.
My husband and I would like to thank The Brock House.  We had the pleasure of not only reserving a private room for our wedding dinner on November 12, 2011, but also exchanging our vows right there in front of the fireplace.  It was so personal, and a beautiful memory to keep.

Everyone there went above and beyond anything we ever expected! Chris was fantastic with all the planning before hand.  Russ was amazing on the day of.  The servers were the best we’ve had anywhere.  And it still blows my mind how you all got the most delicious food we ever ate, to our group of 40, with everything hot!
It is also going to be very special for us every year on our anniversary, to be able to go to The Brock House and celebrate excatly where we exchanged our vows.  Not many people are able to do that!

Once again we say thank you, and if anyone is looking for a beautiful, small, personal wedding experience…do not hesitate to book The Brock House. You will not be disappointed.

I want to thank you for the hospitality you have shown our Garden Park Group that I bring to The Brock House on the last Friday of each month, with the exception of December. The Group were really impressed by Brett, who entertained us with his “Annoucements”. They also enjoyed having the private room just for our group. Thanks again, looking forward to 2012.

Just to let you know that we all had a great time Friday evening. Everything went smoothly, the service was excellent ( special thanks to Andrea and Robin! ) and the meals were delicious. The only downer was the Leafs losing on the big screen LOL!  Thanks again for putting the menu together and reserving us the room. Tell Chris that I’ll book another party if he lets me know where he got the shirt he was wearing that evening. Sadly, I don’t have the hair to go with it!

To The Brock House, I meant to send you and e-mail first thing on Saturday morning.   We had an absolutely wonderful time!!!  Our staff really liked the venue so we will be back next year.   The room was a perfect size for our group, the food was excellent and most importantly the two young ladies who took care of our group were just fantastic and attentive.   We were welcomed at the door upon our arrival, had a drink in the bar and our table was ready promptly.   Everything went just great.    Please pass on our thanks to your staff.   Have a Merry Christmas and all the best in 2012.

We had a fantastic time on Saturday night!  Both the food and the service were excellent – please convey our appreciation to all of your staff, who went above and beyond to look after us (even coordinating our cabs for us).  I will definitely recommend The Brock House for private parties.

We found the food great the service was great and  both my mom and I commented about the Waitress (Jennifer) I believe was her name. She was very helpful as we asked her for questions. Hi Chris,

As I menioned to our waitress, the food was great!! My husband said he hadn’t had a steak that good in a long time…..believe me, he is not easy to please. All the guests enjoyed their meals and were impressed with the food, the service and the ambiance itself.

Our waitress and her other helper were great. Very attentive and quick. I really liked the separate room; especially with a couple of little ones in the party we didn’t have to worry about them getting too far or bothering other patrons.

Thanks again for a great experience. I know we will be back and you will definitely be a recommendation to friends.

Our party was a huge success yesterday with everyone raving about “The Brock House”. I told everyone both you and Russ were a pleasure to deal with and so accommodating to our needs and questions, etc.
The salads were crisp, all entrees arrived hot which is a major feat and the dessert was outstanding! The servers – Stephanie, Stephanie and Brett were wonderful to work with and Sean a master! In short, we are thrilled and will definitely recommend you, your staff and The Brock House should the occasion arise.

Just a short note to say my family and I visited your new restaurant last Sunday and was pleasantly surprised at the transformation made from the Old Krebs to your new The Brock House.
Not only was the meal presentation excellent, but my prime rib was over the top excellent. I must also say that the service from Brett and the other servers were on a scale from one to ten a ninety-nine.
As devoted Carnivore, Moishe’s in Montreal and the Keg Restaurant were my all time faves, however The Brock House is my new number one.

Thank you for the wonderful evening we had last Sunday celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday!
Robin and Andrew did an excellent job taking care of us all, and always with a smile. They could not have been more attentive. My thanks to them again!
Our meals were delicious from start to finish. Each course was served quickly and every item was either cold or hot as it should be. I had many phone calls following our celebration with great reviews of your restaurant.
Special thanks to Chris for his attention to detail. The menus with my mom’s picture added a true personal touch to our event.

I want to say again my thanks for all that you and your staff did to make the party for my mumís birthday such a lovely event. Our server had a daunting task to serve all those people but she did it ever so professionally ñ pleasantly and quietly.
